Do NOT buy a refrigerator from #sears. #Sears has failed MISERABLY on their customer service, fulfillment and logistics with me. I am a #Cisco employee who was using the employee discount program which I will be advising Cisco to terminate with Sears as this experience has been SO terrible. I have a dual all Gas Oven and a repair person was sent out to check the issue with the oven. Both walmart and target told me my credit card couldn't verified so i was unable to place my orders. Initially, i blamed on walmart but as target also had the same reaction, I thought something more was going on. I finalized my order with target using another credit card. I did have stock with sears until I started working with sears in the appliance repair dept. Very upset with how we treat our customers, lying by overbooking, & for people with warranty's and purchase for sears go to the back of the line. While customers with no loyalties & no warranty's get push in front of customers that wait for weeks. No consideration for customers taken hours & days off of work to get their appliance fixed.... Dear Edward Lampert, I have been a loyal Sears customer for many years. I bought my refrigerator (Kenmore) in 7/09 from the beginning the freezer was freezing up. They came out twice and just defrosted and adjusted the doors. After the third time they sent an expert out to change the rails in the freezer. I never thought I'd be writing to complain about service from Sears but they seem to have fallen a long way. We purchased a new induction cooktop in August 2012 and four months later it stopped working, completely. We had 3 service calls over the following month without any results. We have had Sears service contracts on our appliances for years. Our microwave broke. Sears repair came to fix it. They said the plastic piece that made the glass turntable move was broken. They ordered the piece. It never came. We contacted them over and over again with no response. I drove to seasrs for a hour in heavy traffic. I needed a hedge trimmer. It showed in stock. When I got there I could get no one to help me. I ran someone down. The trimmer I wanted was out of stock. I asked if they could sub another. They looked at me like I was crazy!!!! Bought a $300 premium gas mower in April, 2011. This is the second one I have purchased from Sears in 3 years. It would not start today. I brought it in and was informed that I would be responsible for parts, labor and shipping(!) tio get it repaired.
