Sears - Store not standing by my purchase.
I purchased a nice Husqvarna Rotary Lawn Mower in May last year. I use it only to mow my home yard.
(1/2 Acre) Only the hard to ride areas. I mowed my yard one time this year and second time mower would not stay started. I took it along with my receipt and Manual back to Sears. They called the service center to verify they would work on it.
May 13th this took place. May 24th I was contacted and told my mower was back. I went to pick it up on 27th and found it was sent back with a note saying they no longer service that brand! I was given a local number that was closed and not back till Wednesday.
I was emailed another number from Sears and just hung up with that number after being on hold over 10 minutes.
I just want my mower fixed and feel Sears should stand behind it. It is less than a year old.
Monetary Loss: $230.
Location: Gloucester, Virginia

We have learned that this winter en we purchase a snow blower that we will buy in from our local equipment company and NOT Sears. We have had nothing but trouble with Sears and so we are going to go elsewhere this time. Hope you can get your issues resolved.
Had the same problem!!! Contract Husquavarna (google husquavarna customer device) & they'll tell you where you can take it to get fixed under their warranty
I actually took the mower to a Sears preferred location to get repairs done. They told me it sounded like a fueling issue and not under any warranty.
I got them to tell me what it would cost and they estimated a minimum of $135.00 to have new carburetor installed.
Mower cost $230.00 less than a year old so I decided to not have it fixed and just reconsider who I do business with.
Everyone just wanted you to know that the response below to my complaint is just eye wash!! Bottom line is I bought a $230.00 Lawn Mower from Sears used it for 5 months doing trim on a 1/2 acre lot.
This year it will not stay running and Sears basically said they are sorry. They don't service that brand anymore. I took it back to them with receipt and everything showing I had it less than a year. They actually sent it in and kept it two weeks.
Told me it was ready to picked up. When I picked it up the Store employee saw that the mower was returned to them and no repair made. Again a note saying they were sorry. They do not service the brand any longer.
I live less than two miles from a Lowes and Home Depot.
Not to mention Wal-Mart. I guess I should reconsider who I do business with.
