My son tried to purchase a $175 gift card and sears took money from bank account but would not send gift card since they could not verify he was the purchaser. Told sears that the money came out from the bank and they said they would refund.

They did not. They told me it was a bank they will not issue refund. Bank told him no error occurred and sears did receive the money. Had a case open with sears but they closed anyway.

case #5587747 Tried to contact sears again but they will not answer phone or return phone calls. I have left messages with three reps on voice mail and yet to receive call back.

Product or Service Mentioned: Sears Gift Card.

Reason of review: Order processing issue.

Monetary Loss: $175.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

I didn't like: False promises, Response to the issue, Do not pick up the phone during work hours, Lack of documentation that delayed fixing the problem.
