Sears in Warrenton, Virginia - Missed day of pay, and one more to follow!

I just need to know a better place to go for complaints at Sears services. Trying to get every avenue I can get. My wife missed a full day of work yesterday waiting for scheduled service that we've waited for a while with the appointment. Will be there between 8 & 5. She had made a call somewhere around 3 and was still coming. At 4:45 she called again and was told he was ten minutes away, around 7:30 she called again, they told her no one was home at the time the technician got there. Now we have to wait another week plus for service. The thing is my son was home from 3:00 on, outside in the driveway working on his car, he even stated that no vehicles even came by, we're on the end of a cul-de-sac, we know when vehicles come the dog goes nuts. Now my wife has a lost day of pay, being told we are liars, and we still cannot do laundry. I called also they transferred me to a tech specialist who just read the book as everyone else prior. We have a wedding to attend and need service. I'm sorry but I remember when you could depend on Sears’s service, those days are gone. I am going to let all the blogs know just how sears treats repeat and warranty customers, if this was to be a paid service I’m sure it would have been taken care of. Shame on you Sears

Poor customer Service - Sears Blue Service Crew

I want to advise you of our extreme displeasure with our recent interaction with Sears field and call center staff. My wife made an appointment to address our leaking fridge water filter. The technician was very rude, impatient regarding my wife's questions, and stormed out of the house without even leaving an estimate. My wife called to ask what she should do and was told nothing could be done except to schedule another appointment for the following week. She asked to speak to a supervisor and after some minutes of discussion, the supervisor hung up on her. She called again and spoke to someone else who also indicated that the only thing to do was schedule another appointment. My wife was very upset as the fridge had already been leaking for a week and she had been treated very poorly twice that day. I was so upset that I cancelled the follow-up appointment and the next day we bought a new fridge (specifically not made by Sears). Going ahead we will no longer buy Sears products and will not seek Sears services to repair the appliances that we have. We have never been treated so poorly by a supposed customer-friendly organization.

Don't be fooled by the "Sears so called cares " team

They will try to offer you a 25 dollar gift card to,shut you up and then not deliver when they promise to. Don't get our hopes up.

You can't get blood out of a turnip as ?Sears is in debt 2.8 BILLION dollars and isn't going to GIVE anything to anyone. They are in survival mode and is getting away with stealing, cheating and lying when there is any kind of a problem.

The only solution is legal action. GOOD LUCK

Some years ago I went to Sears to replace a small hand tool that was supposed to have a lifetime Sears warranty. Even though the tool was something that could be replaced for under $20, they refused to honor their own "lifetime warranty".

As a result, I basically made a decision to avoid Sears in the future, although I occasionally have gone in there to "window shop".

I guess they were being "Penny wise and pound foolish."

Wow, I had the same experience with Sears Home Services, Lorton, VA. To make a long story short, January 2017, Three technicians?

showed up at my house to clean my air duct as scheduled for $99 as advertised. However, once in my home the lead technician claimed to find some much wrong (mold etc.) but my system was only a few years old. Bottom line, $99 turned in over $2k.

I thought that this was an outrageous amount...I've called and spoken to so many people including a rep from the quality control unit...ultimately, they said that they cannot help me, so I'm stuck with this charge. This is such a scam and ripoff.

SO i called my home warranty company to get my AC unit fixed. Mind You im 6 months pregnant home alone witha a toddler. It is BURNING up outside. they tell me someone will be out the day after tomorrow, which is now today aug,12,2011. No one gave me a time frame or anything just hung up. So i call sears the morning of the repair to find out whats going on about a time (its 9:30 am and allready 87 degrees in the house) they said i was put in the bracket for a 7am to 12 pm rapair.but hes been delayed allready and its looking like 1:30pm for my repair. and that i would get a call an hr to 30 min before he actualy comes out. so its 1:03om i call them back and they tell me that he is on his way. i tell them ok what happened to someone calling me? they tell me they dont know why he has not called. so then i do some cleaning and look at the clock and its now 2:30. wth. so i call them and the guy tells me that he is seeing a repair time of 4:30pm. i tell him what happened so far and he calls to verify. apparently he got an emergency service repair on the way to my house. but again no one has called me. i asked the guy what constitutes as a emergency repair? he says he doesnt know. ok whatever. so then shortly after hanging up as im making a username and such for this site i get a phone call. i answer and he hangs up i tried calling back and no answer. then he calls again. its my repair man. telling me he is at the person before me on the list and he will be there about an hr or so. and then sits there chatting on the phone with me asking whats wronge with my AC... hellloooooo for 1 if i absolutaly knew why would i have called sears and sat in the heat for 2 days? 3 if u count the day before where i tried melting the ice myself and trying to get it to work myself. and second of all i allready told sears why are you wasting time? its now 2 51pm and i am highly aggitated. im 6 months pregnant like i said its hott i have a toddler running around being grumpy because he is hott. i have bronchitis and my toddler has a cold. but ur telling me that is not an emergency repair during the summer? we shall see what happens. i better be getting some kind of discount for all these freaking hoops. im glad they think we can sit at home all day and not have things to do and they can just show up whenever they want and not have to stick to a timeline. yeah lets call and find out how difficult the next repair is so i can spend more time jacking off here to procrastinate the next job.
