I bought a five year warranty because these new appliances are so computerized. They have came at least twice for yearly maintenance.
I have condensation on the back of fridge the Sears repairman stated if it got worse I should call. In the meantime my ice maker quit working. A third party repairman has supposedly fixed it. It has been 24 hours I have 3 cups of ice.
Thank heavens we have a portable ice maker because we need to use it. I cannot get the third party to close out on service call and Sears will not open a new case so I can have the condensation problem checked out.
I cannot see me renewing the Sears warranty, and I want to buy a new freezer this winter I am definitely keeping away from Sears for that purchase. There are plenty of companies that make appliances.
