We bought a whirlpool gas range in November 2016. From the beginning the oven didn’t work right. It heats to the desired temp then stops firing so the oven cools off but the front panel still shows 350.

I’ve totally lost count of how many “service” calls we’ve had. Each one thought it was fixed but not so. They’ve replaced the igniter, control panel, temperature sensor and some other part a couple of times.

I’m ready to put it out on the curb with a “free” sign. For what Sears has charged the repair company (or vice versa) we could have had 3 new ranges.

And nothing has baked right in the oven. We used to be able to turn it off and restart every 15 minutes or so but now that trick doesn’t work.
