Consumer BoB from local NBC channel 7 and Eloina( Texas NBC office) negotiated with sears and I got a replacement fridge on August 18th. Thank you Eloina, consumer Bob and sears!

August 10. Fridge still not cooling to safe standards.
Nia Rivers, strategic member services, has been instrumental in moving repair dates up and asks for updates. Techs out on July 16(diagnostics/ ordered parts), August 1,6,8(repairs) and next appointment is August 21.
Told I can keep calling for service or accept $500 towards buying a replacement! Not acceptable.

On July 11 I realized my kenmore elite wasn’t cooling. Was just fine the day before when I filled freezer after shopping?
Called sears and first available was July 16th. Purchased new from sears 5/ 16. Set appointment but called 2 other companies who came out July 11. Both told me condenser working and was probably common kenmore/L.G.
Sealant system issue and sears needed to do repair since it was covered under manufacturing warranty for 5 years. Called sears back and was told I’d have to pay $80 for diagnostic on 16th to see if warranty could be ulitized. SERIOUSLY!!! It’s only 2 years old!!!
So I lost the majority of my food, paid for 2 diagnostics, had to rent a fridge AND pay sears to tell me if a 2 year old fridge is under the warranty ?
I’m a senior living on social security of $573 a month. Are you kidding me!!!
