I am a SEARS customer. I purchased a refrigerator from the SEARS outlet in Lenexa, KS 6 weeks ago. The fridge immediately stopped working. We had a technician come out and he said we needed some parts to fix it. We had to wait two weeks for the parts to come in. The parts came in and the technician came out to fix the fridge. The fridge did not get fixed and stopped working again in the middle of the night. That was over 3 weeks ago.
Since then we have tried to schedule multiple appointments with the technicians and they have been terrible to work with. We had an appointment for Friday the 2nd of March, but we could not be home until after 3. So, the person making the appointment said she would tell the technician not to show up until after 3. They showed up at 1:45 and so we didn't get our fridge fixed. We had to wait another week for it to get fixed.
Which brings us to today Saturday March 10th. We had an appointment scheduled with the technician from 8am-12pm. The technician never showed up. And, so we called the 1800 number and the people said our appointment had been rescheduled to Wednesday March 14th from 8am-12pm without our permission. We were not even called to tell us that our appointment had been changed. We called the warranty people, costumer service, the technicians and everyone else in your organization we could think of and they all said, "Sorry, you'll just have to do the appointment Wednesday." They also said the appointment was rescheduled because the technician showed up and we weren't home. This is a LIE. We have been at our home all morning. The front door was open at 7:30am.
We paid all this money for a fridge that doesn't work and extra money for a warranty and this is what has happened.
NEVER BUY SEARS!
